Taste of Wild - Easy
A true forest experience just minutes from the heart of Helsinki. We cross from asphalted city streets into the forest, where the noise of the city falls away almost immediately. A gentle walk built around conversation and quiet, stories, trees and plants and a coffee break with free time to wander or forest bath in a hammock. Perfect if you are short on time, hesitate a bit to wander on your own, or love nature in small doses at the time.
Echos of Ice Age - Easy / Medium / Difficult
How did the ice age shape and carve landscapes in Finland? And how did 200-ton boulders -once frozen inside glaciers, come to rest in Helsinki's and Finland's forests, as if placed by giants or Hiisi? In the "easy" trip we will head to east of Helsinki, for a gentle exploration in the far end of Kallahti, a ridge formed by the ice age. If you wish to see Viking Bronze Age burial sites or if you are just up for more active, rugged expedition through maritime Espoo this is for you.
The Spirit of Finnish Women - Easy
If you travel solo this experience is available as a non-private small group tour in Get your Guide (from sSeptember 2026). Join like-minded women for a guided walk through Helsinki's central forest. This experience is designed for those who wish to both explore nature safely while discovering stories of ancient and modern Finnish women's resilience, survival skills and once sacred beliefs that gave power over forest beasts.
Escape the airport - Easy
Long layover in Helsinki, or an evening flight on your last day? Why spend your layover in the boring confines of the airport when you could be breathing crisp forest air of Finland? This is a rare opportunity to experience Finland’s wilderness without leaving the airport vicinity. We meet at the airport and head for serene woodland where you can rejuvenate your spirits before your flight. I will have you back in plenty of time for check-in.

With a background in service design and project management, I’ll transform your vision into an unforgettable day. Share your interests—nature, history, or Finnish folklore—and the time you have, and I'll design an itinerary for you. You select your accommodation, and we’ll design around it, whether it’s a single day of forest immersion or a multi-day hiking adventure, or with a little bit of everything on different days. As autumn deepens and Helsinki's endless white nights fade into darkness, the forests that daytime bath in golden hues now whisper of longer nights and their secrets. This is before they fully drop their leaves and fall in their winter rest before the next spring. Step beyond the ordinary and join me for a safe forest walk just before the darkness lands. Listen to the humming silence while imagining your ancestors sit by the fire and tell ghost stories.
